The public lecture, "Powering the Planet with Solar Energy" attracted a packed and interested audience. Professor Gray intrigued and delighted the audience with his explanations of the latest concepts and challenges in efficiently harnessing solar energy. Dr. Gray believes that the search for technology to deliver cheap, clean, and dependable solar energy is one of the greatest challenges facing modern chemistry. Dr. Gray is an internationally known chemist who has won numerous prestigious awards for his work.

While in Halifax, Professor Gray did an interview on the CBC Radio program Maritime Noon, hosted by Costas Halavrezos. You can hear the interview by clicking here (requires Real Player).
